Hi everyone, I’m Tram and I have been a psychiatrist for over 17 years in Naarm, across different organisations and settings. But my passion has always been working with and supporting marginalised people.
I started off as a perinatal psychiatrist with experience at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Mother Baby Unit. I continue to provide on call to the Women’s alcohol and drug service (WADS) at the Women’s. I then moved to working at Cabrini Asylum Seeker and Refugee Health Hub (I do still pro bono sessions) and The Royal Children’s Hospital Gender Service. My bread and butter is working in a trauma-informed approach, which is person-centred and family friendly. I am comfortable seeing young people from the age of about 10 years – teenagers are great!
I am always open to sharing my knowledge and learning from others, so happy to have a yarn. You can ask me anything psychiatry related! I am very excited to be part of the FPHW team 😊
I came to Australia as a refugee, after the war in Viet Nam and carry that lived experience of collective trauma, and also collective resilience.
When I am not working, I am cooking and eating with my family (food is our love language), trying to play soccer, and reading.

Hi everyone, I am a Child Health Nurse, and I’ve spent most of my career working alongside women, children, and families in community health, mainly in rural and remote Australia - from Kalgoorlie to Thursday Island.
For 20 years, Arnhem Land was home, and it’s where my two (now officially adult!) children grew up. Living and working with Yolŋu people was a real privilege and shaped both my nursing and who I am as a person. It taught me the importance of listening, building relationships, and never assuming you know it all.
After moving back to Victoria two years ago, I’ve been working with vulnerable families in Dandenong. I’m really excited to be joining the team here and to have the opportunity to work in an Aboriginal health service again. I’m looking forward to getting to know the communities here in Victoria, learning from my clients and colleagues, and hopefully making a positive contribution along the way.

I am a proud Kaurna/Peramangk woman and Registered Nurse with extensive experience across acute and primary health care. I have called the Mornington Peninsula home since I was 12 years old, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I am passionate about improving health outcomes for Mob through culturally safe, accessible primary health care and community connection.
I am excited to join such an amazing team and look forward to working alongside community, connecting with familiar faces, as well as meeting many new ones.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends and spend most of my spare time as a taxi for my children. I also enjoy spending time with the animals on my little farm.

I am Jaleesa, a proud Larrakia, Jawoyn woman from the Northern Territory and Ngerragi from the Torres Straits. I grew up in Darwin and moved away from home in 2017, where I have since obtained my Cert III and IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice. I have worked as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner in NSW and QLD in Aboriginal Medical Services and relocated to Victoria in 2023 to further my career opportunities. My passion has always been Indigenous health, working with mob and in community, and I am excited to be with FPHW as the Office Manager in Thomastown. 😊
