Aunty Pam Pederson - Our Fun Run Ambassador!

We are absolutely thrilled that Aunty Pam Pederson has agreed to be the Ambassador of our community event - ‘Get Your Reconciliation On’ Fun Run!

Aunty Pam said she saw the flyer and knew she had to participate in this Fun Run, by mob, to celebrate reconciliation for the whole community. Too deadly Aunt!

Since the first time Aunty Pam put on her new runners and joined in the Mother’s Day Classic at the age of 50, she hasn’t missed the run in 28 years. In 2016 the event took on far greater significance when just before Mother’s Day, Aunty Pam was herself diagnosed with breast cancer. “I’m a very pragmatic person, so once I was diagnosed it became about what steps I had to follow to get well” Aunty Pam said.

In 2016 Aunty Pam was inducted into the Victorian Aboriginal Honour Roll for her passionate advocacy that inspires her community.

We’re so grateful and proud that Aunty Pam will be joining us all at the Frankston Foreshore on 31 May 2025 for the ‘Get Your Reconciliation On’ All Abilities Fun Run. You’ve inspired us to get training Aunt.

See our Event Page for more details and to register for free! There will be an epic line up of First Nations musicians and entertainers as well as food trucks and Koorie Market Stalls. More info on that to follow!
