Child Hearing

We recognise the importance of early detection and intervention in child hearing to support development.

 

General Practitioners at our clinics can conduct a range of services including:

  • Hearing assessments for infants and children

  • Hearing screening for school-aged children

  • Management and treatment of hearing conditions

  • Referral to specialist services when necessary

 

In addition, a hearing specialist from Hearing Australia visits the Thomastown Clinic once a month to provide their HAPEE Ears for Early Years Program. This Hearing Assessment Program is available for children aged 6 months to 6 years old with referral to specialists as required.

 

We understand that cultural safety and respect are crucial to effective health care services. We are committed to building respectful relationships with our patients and creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.
